Paul Thomas, M.S.
Mr. Thomas has over thirty years of professional consulting experience and has conducted environmental characterization and remedial actions at major industrial facilities throughout the United States. His work has resulted directly in the completion of full-scale design-build remediation projects in 20 states including CERCLA, RCRA, brownfields and voluntary actions. He has also been involved in all aspects of due diligence, ecological characterization/mitigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance. From 1979 through 1983, Mr. Thomas worked in the mining industry specializing in geophysical logging, mapping, and computer methods for reserve estimation and mine roof stability. In 1983 he began applying his knowledge of geology and computer methods to the management of hazardous waste through site characterization and remediation. Beginning in 1987, Mr. Thomas was among the pioneering practitioners of vegetation-based remediation and waste management (Phytotechnologies) and has worked to develop applications for phytotechnologies over the past 27 years.
